Livello 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Eric Varnado
Eric Varnado

Eric Varnado bet on a flop of K62 and was called by Ben Vidal and Tomomitsu Ono.

The turn came the 6 and Varnado bet the rest of his chips. Vidal and Ono both called to the Q river, where Vidal put out a bet. Ono tank-called and both players showed ace-king.

Varnado, though, had 8662 for quad sixes as he tripled up.

"How did you like that turn card," Erik Perry asked him as Varnado found new life in the tournament.

Scully Scoops a Three-Way Pot

Livello 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Ryan Scully
Ryan Scully

On a flop of 93J with three active players, Ryan Scully checked from the small blind to see Kyle Cartwright bet from the under-the-gun position.

Brian Kelley put in a four-bet that was called by Scully and Cartwright before watching as the dealer burned and turned the A.

The players all checked through to the 9 river, on which all players checked through again.

Scully quickly threw the Q1098 face up onto the middle of the table. Both Cartwright and Kelley stared at their cards for a few seconds before both tossing their cards face down toward the muck, conceding the whole pot to Scully.

Vidal Scoops Without Realizing It

Livello 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Heads-up on a board of 82K6, Erik Perry bet and Ben Vidal called.

Perry also bet the A river and Vidal called. Vidal turned over A234 and prepared to split the pot with Perry before the table pointed out he won both the high pot with his two pair and the low.

"I thought you had the flush," Vidal told Perry.

"No, I didn't have a flush. How was there an ace left in the deck," Perry responded.

"I don't have to show, right," Kelley asked as he collected the pot.

"Ace-queen good," tablemate Ryan Scully told him.

Kevin Petersen Eliminated in 17th Place ($9,202)

Livello 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Kevin Petersen
Kevin Petersen

A player in the cutoff raised before facing a three-bet from Nick Kost in the small blind. Kevin Petersen put in the four-bet from the big blind, causing the cutoff to fold before Kost tossed in the call.

The flop came K28 and Kost check-called a bet from Petersen before seeing the 7 turn.

Kost checked once more and Petersen bet the last of his chips. Kost called to put Petersen at risk as the two players headed to the river with their cards face up.

Kevin Petersen: AA87
Nick Kost: AJ108

Petersen needed to fade a few outs for a double but the 10 river gave Kost two pair and sent Petersen to the rail in 17th place for $9,202.
