Matt Giannetti opened with a raise to 110,000 from under the gun, then it folded around to Tom Grey who reraised to 375,000 from the hijack seat. It folded back to Giannetti who made the call.
The flop came . Giannetti checked, and Grey didn't waste too much time before betting 560,000. Giannetti sat for nearly a minute, then announced he was raising. He carved out the 560,000, then another 850,000 on top of that. Once that was settled, Grey instantly announced he was all in, and Giannetti snap-called.
Giannetti:
Grey:
Set of nines for Giannetti, who stood from the table nervously sweating the arrival of the last two community cards. The turn was the , and Giannetti continued to stand with his head down. Meanwhile, Grey sat stoically at the table, a small grin on his face.
The river was dealt -- the -- and it was easy to see Giannetti physically react. "I saw paint!" he said, and Bryan Devonshire touched his chest for proof that his heart was pounding.
It took some time to sort out the stack sizes, but in the end it was found that Giannetti had Grey just covered, and Grey shook hands and departed. Giannetti is still stacking, but looks to have around 8.2 million as we near the end of Day 6.
(This hand was previously reported incorrect. Apologies for that.)

Gionni Demers opened to 120,000 from under the gun, Philipp Gruissem three-bet to 285,000 from middle position, and Tony Hachem moved all in for 1.5 million on the button. The action folded to Gruissem who sat in the tank.
"There's still tomorrow buddy," Hachem told him. "But do what you want to do. I want a double, you want a double..."
Gruissem did not give him action though, instead he opted to fold his hand. Hachem raked in the pot, and is now back up to 2 million chips.
Back over on the secondary feature table, Tyler Bonkowski moved his last 430,000 into the middle after the dealer had spread the flop of with , but ran smack into Tri Huynh's .
Neither the turn of the or the river were of any help, and just like that, Bonkowski was given his cue to depart from the Amazon Room. Huynh is now holding more than six million in chips.
Andrey Pateychuk opened to 100,000 from late position only to have Chris DeMaci moved all in for 740,000 from the cutoff. It folded back around to Pateychuk who snapped, flipping up . DeMaci sighed and tabled .
The board fell and DeMaci was sent to the rail while Pateychuk scooped the pot, bringing his stack to 6,100,000.
With the elimination of Amanda Musumeci, Erika Moutinho is officially the last woman standing and is currently playing on the feature table. Interestingly, Moutinho is the girlfriend of poker pro David "Doc" Sands, who just so happens to alive and well in this very tournament.
What's more, Sands' table recently broke and he has been moved to the feature table as well. This has set up a little lovebird rivalry that'll no doubt have some serious bragging rights on the line.
Ryan Lenaghan opened from the hijack seat, Amanda Musumeci moved all in from the cutoff, and when the action folded back to Lenaghan he quickly called.
Lenaghan:
Musumeci:
The flop was clean, but the splashed on the turn, giving Lenaghan a leading pair of queens. Musumeci needed a nine to survive, but the completed the board, and she was eliminated from the tournament.
On a flop, Marc-Andre Ladouceur shoved all in against Nicolas Fierro, and the two men were very close in chips. Fierro had 1.35 million, Ladoceur 1.37 million, and the cards were on their backs.
Showdown
Ladouceur:
Fierro:
The two pair were in front for Fierro, and they held fast as the turn and river filled out the board. It's 2.8 million for Fierro now, just 20,000 for Ladouceur.
On the next hand, Ladouceur was all in for 15,000 from the small blind, and Pius Heinz bet Stephane Albertini out of the side pot. When the cards were turned up, the board showed , and Heinz's had Ladouceur's drawing dead. The river was a meaningless , and Ladouceur is headed to the rail to collect his six-figure check.
Over in The Mothership, JP Kelly raised to 125,000 from middle position before Brian Yoon called from the hijack position to go heads-up to a flop that read .
Kelly bet 165,000 and Yoon called, then Kelly led out for 355,000 after the turn of the . Yoon called again, then Kelly pushed out a third bet worth 800,000 on the river of the . Yoon called, but when Kelly showed down for top-top, Yoon mucked his hand.
Kelly's now up to almost four million in chips, but Yoon's now running on fumes, holding only 955,000.
