The Buffet is Now Closed
Michael Sweaney went all in for 2,300 from middle position and said, “All you can eat baby, buffet’s open”. Sweaney, who started the day with 25,800 in chips, then noticed us watching and asked if we say his aces get cracked before which we didn’t but that's what must have left him with less than two big blinds.
Back to the hand, David Buell called in the cutoff as did the small blind Trevor Whiteway. The flop rolled out and and Whiteway checked. Buell potted for 8,100 and Whiteway made the call. Both players checked the turn but when the hit the river, Whiteway set his opponent all in for the few hundred he had left. Buell made the call as the players turned up their hands.

Although Sweaney had turned a flush and had a six-low, Buell had rivered the nut-high with quads while Whiteway held the nut-low. This meant that Sweaney was eliminated as his two opponents split the pot. Looks like the buffet is now closed for Sweaney.
