Outhred’s Full House > Ji’s Flush

We caught up with the action heads up on a {K-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board between Alex Outhred and Young Ji. There was already a sizeable bet out there that looked be around 17,200 when Ji potted all in. It was now up to Outhred who went into the tank. He eventually made the call as the players turned up their hands.

Outhred: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Ji: {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The river came the {4-Hearts} and Ji immediately shouted, “YES!!!” as he thought he won the entire pot with a flush. Unfortunately for him, Outhred quietly pointed out that his king and four made him a full house to actually scoop the pot. After it was counted down, Outhred had 57,100 on top of the 17,200 which was more than Ji had who was eliminated.

Afterwards, Outhred joked, “I’m so glad I’m not completely broke and don’t care about the money” which enabled him to make the big call as opposed to folding if he really needed the min-cash.
