Gomes Takes A Big Hit. Rowsome Doubles

Alexandre Gomes came into today as one of our top 10 in chips, but has fallen out of that category after losing a big hand early here on Day 2.

Preflop, Gomes raised it up to 3,600 and got a call from Adrienne Rowsome and Larry Fallek who was subsequently all in.

The flop came {3-Clubs} {q-Spades} {6-Spades} and Gomes potted for 7,600. Rowsome re-raised all in for a total of 14,200 and Gomes called.

Gomes: {a-Spades} {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}

By the end, the full board read out {3-Clubs} {q-Spades} {6-Spades} {2-Clubs} {a-Clubs} and Rowsome scooped the pot with the runner-runner club flush and {4-} {7-} low. Gomes has fallen down to just around 60,000 and Rowsome is up near the 40,000 mark. We did not catch Fallek's hand, but he was beat and hit the rail
