Tom Marchese lasted another half an hour after getting coolered by Benjamin Kaupp, but he couldn't take his short stack much farther. He moved all in on a flop, and Aaron Schaff looked him up.
Marchese: - bottom pair and a gutshot
Schaff: - top two pair
The turn and river didn't rescue Marchese, and he said his polite goodbyes to the table after a two long days on the PLO grind. Schaff now sits with 650,000.
From the cutoff seat, Tristan Clemencon raised to 13,000. Will Failla called from the small blind and Abe Mosseri called from the big blind. The flop came down and everyone checked to see the fall on the turn and pair the board. Failla bet 10,000 and both his opponents folded.
As the pot was pushed his way, Failla showed the and from his hand.

Benjamin Kaupp opened to 10,400 from the cutoff, and Ben Lamb called on the button. Tom Marchese joined them out of the small blind.
Flop: - All three players checked the three-club board.
Turn: - Marchese bet out 30,000. Kaupp called, and Lamb folded.
River: - Marchese bet 52,000, and after a minute, Kaupp raised to 115,000 total. Marchese knew where Kaupp was, calling with a sigh rather than moving all in. Marchese showed for tens full, but Kaupp tabled for queens full. Ouch.
Marchese was left with 110,000 and Kaupp stacked up 390,000.
Sami Kelopuro got into a blind v. blind confrontation with David "Devilfish" Ulliott, and all of Ulliott's chips went in on the flop.
Ulliott: - six-high spade draw, gutshot, and bottom pair
Kelopuro: - nut-flush draw

Vanessa Selbst limped in from under the gun plus one and then Matthew Greenwood raised to 22,500 from middle position. Sami Kelopuro called from the cutoff seat and John Kabbaj called from the small blind. Selbst also made the call to make for four-way action on the flop.
The flop came down and action was on Kabbaj. Selbst actually started moving her chips in, not realizing action was still on Kabbaj. Kabbaj thought for a minute and then bet the pot for 95,000. Selbst called all in for 71,500 and Greenwood folded. When Greenwood folded, he claimed that he must be drawing dead and left himself with just 26,000 in chips. Kelopuro then tanked for a bit, but eventually folded his hand, leaving Kabbaj to do battle with Selbst.
Selbst turned over the for sevens and fives. She was at risk against the for Kabbaj, which was top pair, a gutter ball and a backdoor flush draw. He also had overcards to make a better two pair.
The turn was the and the river the . The nine on the river gave Kabbaj jacks and nines, which beat Selbst's sevens and fives to eliminate her from the tournament short of the money.
