Gualter Salles raised to 2,500 in early position and it appeared as though the next player to act either raised to 5,000 or moved all in for 13,500. Whichever it was, it didn’t matter since Salles folded to the raise.

It seems every few seconds another dealer is yelling "Payout!" meaning a player from their table has busted. At least 30 players have already busted since play began 15 minutes ago and it seems that there will still be a lot more to come.
With so many bustouts happening simultaneously, the tournament staff has their hands full getting players paid and updating information in the system. We'll keep our numbers as accurate as we can through this hectic period!

Action is set to kick off here in the Amazon room at 2:30 and there will be 323 players battling it out on the felt this afternoon. There was a mistake in the full chipcounts reported from WSOP earlier, and we have confirmed that Christopher McClung is our chipleader to start the day with 114,100.
Players to watch today include big stacks Luke Davies and Nick Petrangelo, as well as Team PokerStars Pro Gualter Salles (Brazil), Lars Bonding, James Carroll, Dwyte Pilgrim, Matt Affleck, Barry Shulman, Chad Batista, and Mike Leah.
As a result of the money bubble breaking on the last hand of the night yesterday, we imagine that bustouts will come fast and furious during the beginning of play as the short stacks who snuck past the bubble attempt to make some moves.
Play will begin shortly so stay tuned!
