After a flop of both Christian Kohl and the under the gun player checked. The turn brought the and Kohl bet 4,800 which the other player called. The river was the and Kohl put out a small bet of 2,500. The other player called but became agitated and angrily mucked his hand after Kohl revealed his for a king-high straight. We're guessing that wasn't the hand the other player was expecting to see based on his reaction.
It was folded around to the small blind who raised to 3,600 and Matt Affleck called from the big. On the flop, the small blind led out for 4,200 and Affleck went all in. The raise actually put the small blind all in for 13,500 more and after quite some time in the tank, he finally made the call.

Affleck’s pair of kings were ahead for the moment but the on the turn gave the small blind a flush draw to go along with his two-pair and trips outs. The small blind hit one of those outs with the on the river which gave him aces up and crippled Affleck down to 5,300 who was eliminated shortly after.
After recently having knocked out Chad Batista, Yueqi Wang used some of her newfound chips to raise to 3,500 in early position. The next player to act raised to 9,000 and it was folded back around to Wang who made the call. On the flop, Wang led out for 16,000. Her opponent moved all in for 26,800 total and Wang made the call.

Wang was behind her opponent’s aces but had outs with her pair and inside-straight draw. The turn took away some two-pair outs and the river was of no help as Wang doubled her opponent up but she was still sitting with a very healthy stack.
With the board reading The player in the big blind bet 10,000 and Dwyte Pilgrim went all in for his last 16,400. The big blind called but then mucked his hand when Pilgrim revealed his for two pair.
Pilgrim now has a much more comfortable stack of 53,000.
Chad Batista raised to 2,400 from the button and Yueqi Wang re-raised to 9,000 from the big blind. Batista called and the flop came . Wang bet enough to put Batista all in and he opted to call, putting his tournament life at risk.

Batista was going to need some help to stay alive but the on the turn and on the river weren't enough and he was eliminated.
Amanda Baker raised from early position to 2,400 and the short-stacked player in the big blind moved all in for his last 3,700. Baker called and the hands were revealed.

The big blind appeared to be in great shape to double up until the flop brought the giving Baker a pair of tens. The turn of the and river of the couldn't help the all-in player who was sent to the rail while Baker's stack now sits at 74,000.
Matt Affleck raised from under the gun to 2,400 and was called by one player in middle position. The flop came and Affleck bet 3,000. The other player pushed all in for a total of 13,900 and Affleck called.

Affleck had been out-flopped and would need a king or a club to win the hand. Unfortunately the turn and river brought the and and the other player doubled up while Affleck was left with 29,000.
Simon Watt is definitely getting involved in a lot of pots early in the day. Most recently he and Xuan Liu got all the chips in the middle preflop with Liu's trailing Watt's . Trailing, that is, until the flop came giving Liu a set of jacks and the lead.
Unfortunately for Liu that lead was short-lived as the fell on the turn giving Watt a set of kings. The river brought an inconsequential and Liu was sent to the rail.
It was folded around to the small blind who limped and Simon Watt checked his option from the big. On the flop, the small blind checked-called Watt’s bet of 1,600. On the turn however, the small blind folded after Watt bet 2,600.
