Richard Lyndaker Eliminated in 7th Place ($20,053)

Richard Lyndaker (7th place- $20,053)
Richard Lyndaker (7th place- $20,053)

Richard "nutsinho" Lyndaker raised from middle position and was called by Kim Nguyen in the big blind. Nugyen then checked the {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{Q-Hearts} flop, Lyndaker bet, and Nugyen check-raised. At that point, Lyndaker opted for a three-bet, Nguyen called, and the {4-Clubs} hit the turn. Nguyen decide to bet out and Lyndaker called off his remaning chips.

Lyndaker: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Nguyen: {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Lyndaker was drawing dead as the {5-Diamonds} hit the river. The online pro will take home $20,053 for his seventh place finish.

Lyndaker Doubles Through Zaichenko

Andrey Zaichenko was in the hijack while Richard Lyndaker was in the cutoff. The latter got his short stack all in preflop and the cards were turned up.

Zaichenko: {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Lyndaker: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

Lyndaker was in a dominating spot, especially after the flop fell {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades}. A mix up then resulted in two burn cards on the turn as the {6-Spades} was put out, which would have left Zaichenko drawing dead. However, the mistake was realized and rectified, so the original turn was put out . . . the {6-Diamonds}. Different suit but same result.

After the inconsequential {9-Spades} was put out on the river, Lyndaker collected the pot worth 115,000.

One for Nassif

Gabriel Nassif was in the small blind and put in a raise after action had folded to him. Samuel Golbuff defended in the big blind and the duo saw a flop of {J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Nassif bet and Golbuff called, which is the same exact action that occurred on the {5-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river.

Nassif showed {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for a flopped two pair and Golbuff quickly mucked.

Nice Flop for Zaichenko

Alex Kuzmin opened the pot and was met with a three-bet from Darren Woods in the small blind. Andrey Zaichenko then four-bet from the big, Kuzmin capped it, and both Woods and Zaichenko made the call.

Woods immediately led out on the {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop, Zaichenko called, and Kuzmin folded his hand. Woods again bet the {K-Clubs} turn, but this time Zaichenko put in a raise. Wood made the call and then check-called a bet on the {Q-Spades} river. Zaichenko rolled over {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped set and all Woods could do was muck.

"You're So Lucky Today"

Gabriel Nassif raised from the hijack and was soon met with a three-bet from Alex Kuzmin on the button. The blinds got out of the way and Nassif made the call. He then proceeded to check-call every street as the board ran out {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Kuzmin showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for trips and Nassif mucked in frustration. "You're so lucky today," Andrey Zaichenko commented in his heavy-Russian accent.

Table Redraw & Chip Counts

With the elimination of Scott Stanko in eighth place, the remaining seven players have combined to one table and moved to the ESPN Feature Table on the main stage. The plan is to play until we lose one more player, thus reaching the official final table, and then take our one-hour dinner break.
