We caught the action in this hand on the river with a board reading . Matt Schreiber had bet only to be raised by Andrey Zaichenko. Schreiber, who didn't have much back, eventually made the call with . Zaichenko rolled over for a straight and the winning hand.
"Are you serious?!?" Schreiber vented. "F***ing gut shot!" Obviously he was not too happy, especially since he was left with just 9,000; meanwhile, Zaichenko chipped up to 400,000.
On the very next hand, Zaichenko opened under the gun and Schreiber committed his remaining chips. Samuel Golbuff then reraised from the button and Zaichenko made the call. When the flop came down , Golbuff bet, Zaichenko raised, and Golbuff called.
It then went check-bet-raise-call on the turn, which was followed by the on the river. A bet and call ensured as Golbuff showed , which bested Zaichenko's (X) and Schreiber's . As a result, the latter player was eliminated from the tournament in 11th place for $11,291.
