Jeffrey Papola continues to add chips to his growing stack. He raised from the button preflop to 5,000 and was reraised by the player in the small blind to 12,600. Papola made the call and the flop ran out {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Both players checked the flop and the {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn. The player in the small blind checked and Papola bet 12,500. His opponent folded and Papola picked up the pot.

Kelton's Crushing

We came across a very tense situation over on table 367, where Keith Uchima and Casey Kelton were involved in a massive preflop betting war.

Uchima raised from early position but Kelton came back with a reraise from next door. The action folded around back to Uchima, who four-bet it to more than 20,000, but Kelton returned fire with a five-bet shove, sending Uchima deep into the tank.

"Sorry guys, it's a big hand," Uchima announced to the table. After about three minutes, he turned his attention back to Kelton. "Will you show me if I fold?"

Kelton agreed, and after another 30 seconds Uchima open-folded {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Kelton was true to his word, rolling up {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}!

After the departure of Humberto Brenes, Kenny Nguyen took up the slack as not only the loudest player in the field but the one having the most fun as well. Nguyen and Taylor Shpur built a pot north of 10,000 going to the flop of {J-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {J-Hearts}. Shpur checked, Nguyen bet out 4,500 and Shpur check-raised to 9,400.

Nguyen sat back in his chair for some thought. He folded his hand and said, "I'll lay this down," as he mucked his hand.

It might be the first hand we've seen him lay down in hours.

We caught the action heads-up between Dylan Thomassie and Jonathan Lane on a flop of {9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}; Lane checked to Thomassie who led out for 6,600. Lane called, then both players checked down both the turn of the {Q-Hearts} and the river {K-Spades}.

Lane tabled {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, but was no good against Thomassie, who had rivered a bigger two pair with his {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.
