Quach's Slowplay Puts a Dent in Martin's Stack

Livello 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Daniel Quach called from the small blind and Stefan Martin checked his option from the big. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and Quach checked. Martin fired 8,000 and Quach smooth-called.

Quach again checked when the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn and this time Martin bet just over 20,000. Quach called a second time.

The river came the {J-Diamonds} and Quach checked one more time, prompting a 37,000 bet from Martin. Quach called and Martin looked ready to muck before seeing Quach's cards, which were {A-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a flopped two pair. Martin mucked his hand and Quach's stack grew to just over 300,000.

Marcus Chips Up

Livello 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Edward Marcus' stack is moving in the right direction after a recent hand against Christopher Perez.

Marcus shoved all in under the gun for 54,000; Perez was next to act and re-raised all in over the top. All the other players folded and the hands were revealed.

Marcus: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Perez: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} giving Marcus four of a kind and the win. After the hand Marcus had around 120,000 and Perez was down to 77,000.

Perez Hits an Ace

Livello 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Stefan Martin opened up the action with a 22,000 raise. Players folded around to Christopher Perez when he immediately went all in for 77,000. Martin called and flipped up {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Perez showed {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

The flop wasn't helpful for Perez when it came out {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}, but the turn put Perez ahead when the {a-Spades} hit. The {j-Clubs} came up on the river and Perez increased his chip stack to a healthy 154,000.

Quach Uses Barela's Aggression Against Him

Livello 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

In a blind vs. blind situation, Michael Barela raised to 18,000 from the small and Quach called from the big.

The flop came {4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Barela would check no more, instead betting 25,000. Quach made the call.

The river came {Q-Diamonds} and Barela announced another 25,000 bet. Quach quickly called and Barela said, "Eight high." Quach showed {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for two pair and took the pot, chipping up to approximately 380,000.
