Perez Doubles Through Baker

Livello 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

In our first big hand since the break, Christopher Perez raised to 40,000. Chip leader Jason Baker then raised to 100,000 and Perez re-raised all in. Baker snap called with his {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} but was trailing to Perez's {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Perez doubled to 520,000 while Baker's stack dropped to 1,000,000

Perez Closes the Gap

Jason Baker made it 50,000 to go from the cutoff and Christopher Perez three-bet to 175,000 from the small blind. Baker called after a few moments, landing a {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop.

Perez quickly shipped it in and Baker folded immediately, giving the pot to Perez.

Quach Hanging On

Livello 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

With his stack slowing disappearing, Daniel Quach needed to make a move. He recently shoved his last 47,000 chips into the pot and his all in was called by Jason Baker.

Quach: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Baker: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Quach got a much needed double up to increase his stack to 128,000.

Drake Puts Pressure on Perez

Livello 20 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sean Drake raised to 39,000 from the button and Christopher Perez called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Perez bet 42,000. Drake made the call and they saw the {2-Spades} fall on the turn. Perez bet out again, this time for 88,000. Drake then raised to 188,000 and Perez tanked for a bit before deciding to fold his hand.

After the hand Perez was down to 515,000 and Drake was up to around 750,000.

Falcaro Doubles Through Baker

Livello 20 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jason Baker raised to 70,000 from the button and Claudio Falcaro re-raised all in from the big blind. Baker made the call and found that his {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} was ahead of Falcaro's {a-Spades}{4-Spades}. The flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} gave Falcaro a straight draw, but the {a-Hearts} on the turn gave him top pair. The {k-Spades} came on the river and Falcaro doubled up.

Falcaro now has around 655,000 while Baker, who earlier had a huge chip lead over the other players, now sits at 480,000.
