Hansen paired his seven on the A♣7♦2♥ flop and check-called for 110,000. The Q♥ turn had potential to be a huge action card as Hudon improved to a set while Hansen had two pair. Sparks ignited as Hansen check-jammed after Hudon bet 250,000. Hudon called off his last 1,500,000 and doubled up after the 8♦ completed the board.

Ponakovs made a continuation-bet of 150,000 on the A♥K♠5♠ flop and Kaufmann called after having checked first.

The 2♣ turn was checked by both players before Kaufmann led out for 500,000 on the 10♠ river.

Ponakovs quickly folded and Kaufmann increased his stack even more.

The 10♥8♣5♦ flop checked through to the 9♣ turn, to give Boatman the lead with a pair of nines. Both players also had an open-ended straight draw. Boatman bet 215,000 and was called.

The 6♥ river gave Boatman the straight and a bet of 500,000 folded out Jorgne.

Before the hand, Ami Barer asked the floor about the rule about leaving too few chips behind after a raise, referencing Aleksejs Ponakovs' double up earlier.

"He doesn't know. He usually plays the high rollers and we don't use that rule in the high rollers," Barer was told.

"I can tell by the jacket he plays the high rollers," Barer joked, pointing out Ponakovs' sleek gold sweater that contrasted with his plain blue shirt.

Ponakovs then raised to 160,000 in the hijack and David Tous slid forward a tower of green 25,000 chips from the small blind. Ponakovs didn't even wait for the amount before moving all in. "No," Tous cried out as he called for his last 1,800,000.

Tous was dominated and found no help on the 10♥J♥6♣5♦J♠ flop as Ponakovs' king-kicker was enough to send him to the rail in 13th place.
