Karabincik Nabs Double-Up

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Patrik Karabincik pushed all in for 140,000 in early position and was looked up by Andrew Hulme in the small blind.

Patrik Karabincik: A8 All in
Andrew Hulme: A7

Karabincik had the dominating ace, but Hulme paired his seven on the J437 turn. The 2 river upgraded Karabincik to a flush, however, and he sighed a breath of relief as he doubled up to a stack of 20 big blinds.

Varonen, Cai Get Paid on the River

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Around 400,000 was already in the pot as Lauri Varonen and Pablo Ubierna went to the river on a board of A9JK8. Varonen then bet 275,000 from the button.

Ubierna used several time banks until eventually calling in early position as Varonen turned over 99 for a set to win the pot, knocking Ubierna down to an extreme short stack.

At the same time at another table, Haoran Cai had moved all in for 270,000 from the button on a board of 10Q823 and Firoz Mangroe called under the gun. Cai showed 22 for a set of deuces and Mangroe mucked 109 as Cai doubled up.

Schwippert Scores a Big Double Through Cunha

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jan Eric Schwippert

With about 100,000 in the middle on a monotone turn board of J52K, Jan Eric Schwippert checked in late position to Gabriel Cunha to his immediate left. Cunha bet 35,000 and Schwippert called.

The river K paired the board and again Schwippert checked. This time Cunha bet 125,000. Schwippert responded with a check-raise to 400,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind.

Cunha used some of his allotted time and then called to see Schwippert's JJ for a full house. Cunha mucked and then sent a sizeable portion of his stack to his neighbor.

Cai Loses Back-to-Back Pots

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Haoran Cai
Haoran Cai

Haoran Cai hasn't enjoyed the last few moments over at his table as the Chinese player had just lost back-to-back pots.

First, Simon Wiciak raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Evgenii Sboev called from the small blind. Cai then squeezed to 115,000 out of the big blind, which got Wiciak to fold. Sboev then backraised all in for around 700,000, and Cai folded.

In the next hand, Wiciak opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Cai called from the small blind.

On the 8J2 flop, both players checked to the 6 turn. Cai led out for 25,000, Wiciak raised to 75,000, and Cai called.

An 8 fell on the river and after Cai checked, Wiciak bet 100,000. Cai used some extra time but eventually folded.

Orchide Left Short After Hero Call

Livello 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Fabiano Kovalski raised his K9 to 30,000 under the gun and was called by Matteo Orchide in the seat next to him, who had AQ.

Both players checked the 587 flop before Kovalski bet 105,000 on the 3 turn. Orchide called to the 6 river. Kovaslki sized up to 240,000 with his straight, sending Orchide in the tank.

Eventually, he decided to call with ace-high, but quickly saw the bad news and sent his cards into the muck. The pot was shipped to Kovalski while Orchide was left with around 12 big blinds.
