Jack Ellwood has been very quiet so far, but with his stack (hovering around 150k) he can't afford to get to frisky without the goods.
When he entered the fray he had mixed results:
- The action folded to him on the button and he raised to 9,000 only to fold when Michel Dattani three-bet from the small blind.
- He tried again the next hand and manged to take the blinds.
- Two hands later he raised to 9,000 from under-the-gun and picked up three callers. The flop came down
. It was checked around to Philippe Boucher on the button who bet 20,500. Ellwood and the other two players folded.
