Kashi Wants to Beat The Chip Leader

Michele Di Lauro came close to having the chip lead at the end of the day yesterday. His table mates see him as the chip leader though and Kambiz Kashi to take him down. "I want to double through the chip leader," is what Kashi said as he beat Di Lauro out of some chips.

Di Lauro raised from the under the gun position to 1,600 and got called by Kashi who was in late position. The flop brought out {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Spades} and Di Lauro check-called a 3,000 bet. On the turn the {5-Clubs} appeared and Di Lauro checked once more. Kashi threw out 8,000 and that got his Italian opponent to fold.

Kashi showed {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} as he raked in the pot after which Di Lauro claimed to have folded {A-}{A-}{J-}{9-}.
