Day 1a of Event #93: $777 Lucky 7's No-Limit Hold'em (7-Handed) at the 2024 World Series of Poker attracted 1,498 entries here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas for a prize pool of $1,024,272 and counting. With two more Day 1 flights to go, this is shaping up to be a big one!

Just 69 players remain at the end of Day 1a. Michael McNeil (3,225,000) leads this field. He is followed by bracelet winner David Funkhouser (3,190,000) in second place and Yoon Choi (2,315,000).

Vanessa Kade (1,490,000) is the biggest name in the top ten, having found a bag for Day 2 along with other notables like two-time bracelet winner Jeff Sluzinski (355,000) and poker coaches Kenny Hsiung (835,000) and Ognyan Dimov (1,350,000).

This was the first of three Day 1 flights for this event.

Each Day 1 flight begins at 10 a.m. local time, with Day 1b starting July 14. There will be 12 levels of early registration. There are 22 levels in each Day 1 flight, with a 20-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break after level 16 (around 7 p.m. local time).

The fields will combine for Day 2 at 10 a.m. on July 16, with play ending on Day 3 which will play out on July 17.
