An extremely busy Saturday at the 2024 World Series of Poker will be even busier, as Event #88: $10,000 Eight Game Mixed Championship is returning for an unscheduled Day 4.

The final two players bagged after a gruelling Friday, setting up the finale of their heads-up battle at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Japan's Dai Ishibashi sits in second place, looking to chase down chip leader Calvin Anderson to earn his first WSOP gold bracelet.

Anderson already has four WSOP titles and came close to adding a fifth earlier in the series. The veteran American pro notched a third-place finish in Event #10: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship (8-Handed). Anderson then narrowly missed another bracelet after settling for the runner-up spot in Event #37: $10,000 Big O Championship.

Another shot at career bracelet number five awaits today, as Anderson will carry a significant lead into action when play resumes at 2 p.m. local time.

Anderson and Ishibashi have both secured at least $271,351, with the largest share of the $1,757,700 prize pool still to be decided. The next step is to claim victory over the field of 189 entries and take home the first-place prize of $413,446.

The heads-up battle will resume at 2 p.m. under the lights of the feature table, where Level 25 will see limits of 100,000-200,000. There are still more than 50 big bets in play, as the two remaining contenders will decide a winner today.
