Day 3 of Event #74: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship gets started at 1 p.m. with 18 players remaining, all vying for their share of the $1,533,100 prize pool and ultimately for the $376,476 top prize.
Almost half the remaining field is made up of bracelet winners, with eight of the 18 having conquered that feat before. Interestingly. out of those eight only one player has multiple bracelets, Brad Ruben, who has four to his name. He begins the day as the fifth-largest stack in his quest for bracelet #5.
The other bracelet winners still in have just one, including Russian Andrey Zhigalov who starts the day second in chips, Todd Brunson, who is fourth to start the day and is looking to add a bracelet to accompany his win from 2005, and Arash Ghaneian who won his lone bracelet back in 2015 in a $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event.

Then there is Norman Chad, who every poker fan knows as the voice of the game, who often talks about his love of every poker variant. He is proving it here in this tournament with a deep run. If Chad can finish eighth or better, he will secure the best cash of his WSOP career, eclipsing his previous best which was a sixth place finish in a 2012 Omaha/Stud Hi-Lo event. He also has a tenth place finish in this very event from 2014.
