Fal Stays Alive, Chops With Brunson

Livello 14

Todd Brunson: J8/J786/9
Nikolay Fal: A6/75J8/K
Adam Friedman: 33/544J/6

Nikolay Fal bet on sixth street and got two instant calls from Adam Friedman and Todd Brunson.

On seventh, Fal bet again. Friedman raised. Brunson called swiftly. Fal would need to put in his remaining 3,000 to make the call as he agonized over it for a few moments before he called.

Friedman announced two pair, but it was beaten by Brunson's jacks up two pair for the high. And Fal stayed alive by taking the low.

Phil Ivey & Scott Seiver
Phil Ivey & Scott Seiver

Are we witnessing the greatest World Series of Poker (WSOP) ever?

No hyperbole, that's a genuine question. On Sunday, Scott Seiver won his third bracelet of the summer making him a lock to win the 2024 WSOP Player of the Year award. Or, so you'd think. But the latter part of that sentence couldn't be further from the truth.

Fujimoto Wins a Three-Way All In

Livello 15

Koji Fujimoto and Nikolay Fal both got all their chips in the middle, while Adam Friedman had them both covered and at risk.

Fujimoto finished with QJAQ66J for queens and jacks. Fal had Q25K49K for a pair of kings, while Friedman was showing 8Q66937 for a pair of sixes. Fujimoto took the pot to double up off Friedman, while Fal was sent to the rail.

After the hand, tablemate Jake Schwartz thought Fal was attempting to give him a fist bump and accidentally punched him. "I'm sorry, that was very weird," Schwartz said.

"You almost gave him a black eye. He gets punched by Jake Schwartz after being eliminated," Todd Brunson added.
