Cahn Lays it Down

Livello 31 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Ethan Cahn raised to 1,750,000 on the button with KQ97 and was called by David Eldridge in the big blind with AKQ7.

Eldridge checked to Cahn on the J8Q flop and he continued for 2,100,000. Eldridge then check-raised to 10,000,000 — sending Cahn into the tank.

Cahn eventually opted to lay his hand down and Eldridge distanced himself from the short stack.

Rast Gets Paid to Leave Cahn Short

Livello 31 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Brian Rast opened to 1,250,000 on the button with Q1053 and Ethan Cahn defended in the big blind holding AK74.

Action checked through the KJ6 flop to the A turn at which point Cahn checked again. Rast fired off 2,000,000, receiving a call from Cahn.

Cahn checked once more after the river came 8. Rast went for big value by pushing 5,400,000 into the middle. That sent Cahn into the tank but, with top two and plenty of missed draws on the board, he was unable to find the fold and could only watch as the majority of his stack was shipped over to Rast.

Yang Wang
Yang Wang

David Eldridge opened to 1,200,000 on the button holding J1077 and then called after Yang Wang three-bet to 3,800,000 out of the small blind with AKQ5.

Wang moved all in following the 10J6 flop and Eldridge snapped off with top two pair.

Yang Wang: AKQ5 All in
David Eldridge: J1077

Wang would need to make a straight to survive but the turn came J to improve Eldridge to a full house, thus rendering the 6 river meaningless as Wang made his way to the payout desk in 4th place.
