Today sees the start of Event #69: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better at 2 p.m. local time here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas with starting stacks of 25,000 and betting limits of 200/400. Levels will be 40 minutes on Day 1 and 60 minutes on Days 2 and 3.
Day 1 will play 15 levels with 15-minute breaks every three levels, while Day 2 kicking off at 1 p.m. Friday will play for 10 levels with 15-minute breaks every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Day 3 will play down to a winner with 15-minute breaks every two levels and a to-be-determined dinner break.
Last summer's event was one to remember as old-school legend Mike Matusow finished runner-up to Poland's Marcin Horecki to be denied his fifth WSOP bracelet. Meanwhile, Horecki won Poland's first live bracelet and $155,275.
