Today sees the start of Event #21: $25,000 High Roller Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. This event is scheduled to run for three days, with Day 1 shuffling up and dealing at 12 p.m. on June 6, with eight 60-minute levels planned. The 30-second shot clock will be in play from the start of this event.

Players begin with 150,000 chips and Level 1 blinds are 500/1,000 with 1,000 big blind ante. Late registration remains open until the end of the first level on Day 2 (about 2 p.m.).

This is only the second running of this event, as it was a new addition to the 2023 WSOP. Last year's event attracted 207 entrants, who created a $4,864,500 prize pool. Swiss star Alexandre Vuilleumier came out on top, defeating Chance Kornuth heads up to capture his first WSOP bracelet and a huge $1,215,864 top prize.
