Dylan Lemery limped in the hijack for 200 and the player in the cutoff raised to 1,000. Action folded back around to Lemery, who reraised to 4,000. The cutoff called and the flop came 8♥4♣3♠.
Lemery continued with a bet of 3,000 and the cutoff called.
The turn landed the 5♣, where Lemery bet again, this time for 10,000, and the cutoff called.
The river brought the A♦ and Lemery put out a stack of red chips for a bet of 70,000, putting his opponent to the test for all his chips. The cutoff decided on a fold and Lemery scooped the pot.

Players were already at a board of 6♠10♣K♣9♥4♦ when Yoshinori Funayama bet small from the big blind. Ryan Conner from a late position made a call and the players flipped their hands.
Both players had a pair, Funayama sat with 8♠8♥ for pocket eights, missing the board and Conner had J♣10♠ for a pair of tens.
Conner took the pot and went straight into the next hand as the hijack. Conner raised preflop to 400 getting a call only from an opponent in the cutoff.
The flop brought A♠4♣K♥ and Conner continuation-bet for 700, getting a fold from the cutoff.

While most tables here at the Horseshoe are playing mostly small pots during the first two levels of play, there is one table in particular where players are battling early.
PokerNews caught the tail end of a hand where Joey Gargiulo was seen dragging in a large pot after doubling up. Gargiulo and the players at the table helped recap the action, where they explained that all the money went in on the flop of 3x5x4x.
Joey Gargiulo: 3x6x
Opponent: 9x9x
Nines were in the lead on the Ax turn, but Gargiulo improved to trips on the 3x river, giving him the double up.
Players at the table shared that this was the fourth all in that took place, despite being very early in the day.
