Furth Extends His Lead

Jiyang Gan limped on the button and Walter Chambers called in the small blind. Caleb Furth checked his option on the big blind for a three-way pot.

Chambers checked to Furth on the 7♠4♥7♣ flop and he bet 400,000. Gan folded and Chambers called.

Both players checked on the 4♣ turn and Chambers checked once more on the 10♠ river. Furth stuck 750,000 into the middle, which got a quick fold from Chambers.

Gan called a 600,000 bet from Furth on the 3♥J♥Q♥ flop and then Furth check-called a 600,000 bet from Gan on the 10♥ turn.

The 6♣ completed the board and both players checked down.

Gan announced a flush and turned over A♠5♥4♥4♠ for the goods. Furth said he held a straight and mucked — sending the pot Gan’s way.
