Ronnie Bardah opened from middle position to 8,500 and it folded to Sarah Kilborn-Strand in the big blind, who went all in and quickly entered a meditative state, closing her eyes.
Bardah shuffled his two cards and spent just over two minutes mulling it over, asking the big blind if she like her hand. Her eyes remained closed and she offered no response. Eventually Bardah folded.
The Very Next Hand:
Bardah opened to 8,500 again but this time from early position. When it folded around he exclaimed, "Ah! You're supposed to go all in this time!" and he tabled the Q♣Q♥ telling Kilborn-Strand that he folded a big hand on the previous one.
Kilborn-Strand travelled all the way from Alaska to compete in the 2024 World Series of Poker and Bardah admitted it was one of the two states he hasn't had the chance to visit yet.
