2024 World Series of Poker
Ryan Reiss raised all in for 175,000, and once it folded to the big blind James Anderson, he elected to make the call.
Ryan Reiss: 2♦2♣
James Anderson: Q♠J♦
Reiss was ahead before the flop but the 5♠J♥6♦ flop put him is desperate shape, needing to hit a two or running straight cards. But the K♣ on the turn was no help, and the 7♣ on the river officially eliminated Reiss, as Anderson won the pot with his pair of jacks.

After raising under the gun to 50,000, Chris Hunichen was facing a three- bet from a player in cutoff for 120,000. Hunichen decided to four-bet all in for the players remaining 100,000, which was called.
Cutoff: 10♦10♠
Chris Hunichen: K♣Q♠
It was a fair fight with the pair of 10s ahead as we came to a flop that brought the J♠4♦10♥ which gave the player in cutoff a set. However, Hunichen was still alive as the flop gave him an open ended straight draw.
Hunichen didn't have to wait long to hit his straight, as the A♥ came right on the turn, to put him in the lead with the Broadway straight.
The river did not pair the board to improve the player in the cutoff, as the 7♠ officially eliminated him from the tournament, giving Hunichen another bounty.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is making a move that will change the online poker game in the US with the launch of WSOP Online, a new platform that will bring players from three states together.
Poker players in Nevada and New Jersey are already competing against each other on WSOP.com, while those in Michigan have a separate single-state site. But that is changing with the trio of states being merged together on one online poker site ahead of the 2024 WSOP. Pennsylvania's WSOP site will not be part of the shared liquidity deal.
On top of the merger news, the WSOP has announced 30 online bracelet events this summer on the new WSOP Online.
