Collins Moves All-In

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After limping preflop, short-stacked Todd Collins moved all in on the flop of 328 and was called by Roman Pereyaslavsky to put him at risk.

Todd Collins: K8
Roman Pereyaslavsky: 78

Collins was well in the lead going into the battle with his superior kicker, and the runout of 8K further improved him to a full house to win him the pot for a double-up.

Foxen Scores Knockout with Trips

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Giyeon Han opened 5,500 in early position and Alex Foxen three-bet to 16,500 next to act. The action folded back around to Han and he made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of Q86, and Han check-called a continuation bet of 13,000 from Foxen.

The 4 turn was checked through to see the 8 river. Han led out for 35,000 before Foxen announced all-in.

Han went into the blender, taking about three minutes before asking how much Foxen had. Foxen counted it for him and let him know he had 329,500, which covered Han's 165,000. Han tanked another 30 seconds before dropping a stack of chips across the line to make the call. Foxen rolled over 98 for trip eights, and Han showed AQ as he exited the tournament.

Botez Gives Kennedy a Bad Birthday Present

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alexandra Botez
Alexandra Botez

Alexandra Botez and Anthony Kennedy built a pot of around 90,000 heading to the turn on a board of A9JQ when Kennedy bet 55,000 from early position.

Botez called and the K fell on the river, where Kennedy then bet 100,000. Botez, with around 75,000 remaining, tanked for several minutes as tablemates snapped photos of the board.

She eventually called all in and Kennedy turned over 97 for a pair of nines. "Oh, my God," Botez said as she got up from her seat and showed AK to win the pot.

Kennedy told the table his birthday is today following the hand. "That's why I played it," he said with a smile despite taking that beat.

Botez later knocked out Anatoly Filatov from this table after Filatov moved all in for around 30,000 with two eights, but Botez woke up with aces to send him to the rail.

Fast Under Starting Stack; Le Busted

Livello 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Dietrich Fast raised to 4,000 from early position and saw a three-bet to 12,500 from his neighbor John Power. The action folded back to Fast, who put in the extra chips for a call.

The flop then came 859 and both players checked. On the A turn, Fast checked to Power again, who opted to bet for 16,500 this time. Fast made the call and the 6 river subsequentially completed the board.

Both players checked again and Fast tabled AJ for a pair of aces. Power had that beat, however, as he turned over 99 for flopped top set. He raked in the pot and knocked down Fast to under 20 big blinds.

On another table, Ken Le's seat card laid in front of his empty seat, signaling his elimination from the tournament.

Preflop action began with a raise to 5,500 by Alec Torelli in the hijack. Nicolas Plantin called from the small blind, while Chris Dombrowski defended his big blind.

Steven "Hoodie Allen" Markowitz
Steven "Hoodie Allen" Markowitz

After celebrating his friend's wedding, rapper Steven "Hoodie Allen" Markowitz took the first flight from New York to Las Vegas this morning to make it in time for the start of Day 3. Unfortunately for Markowitz, his tournament journey was short-lived as recounted by Arthur Souza De Campos, the player who busted him.

Markowitz raised under the gun to 5,000, Campos to his direct left three-bet to 15,000 and Markowitz four-bet to 26,000. Campos put him to the test for his tournament life, five-bet shoving all in for Markowitz's last 120,000. Markowitz called.

Steven Markowitz: AA
Arthur Souza De Campos: AK

The board ran out in sickening fashion as it came J3Q210. Campos rivered a straight to crack Markowitz's aces, sending him to the rail.
