Philip Sternheimer: XxXx/5x5x10xQx/Xx
Brunson bet on fifth, sixth, and seventh street with Sternheimer calling each bet and Brunson tabled 3x6x4x for an eight-seven which was good for the pot as Sternheimer tossed his hand into the muck.
Michael Estes: Q♦J♠4♠/2♦A♥7♦J♦
Joseph Kupresanin: 8♦2♥Q♣/7♥6♠2♣3♦
Michael Estes was all-in on fourth street against Joseph Kupresanin, with Estes unable to catch up to Kupresanin’s eighty-seven low, finishing with a jack-seven, and heading to the payout desk.
Nick Guagenti: XxXxXx/A♠7♥5♠5♣
Andre Akkari: XxXxXx/A♦8♦6♣10♦
Action caught up to a hand between Nick Guagenti and Andre Akkari, with Akkari calling bets on fifth, sixth and seventh, and showing down 5♥3♥3♦ for an eighty-six low, with Guagenti tabling 10♠5♦2♠ to take the high.
A few hands after doubling up, Glenn Cozen went heads-up with Calvin Anderson to sixth street where both players checked. Anderson then bet on seventh.
Cozen called and Anderson turned over Q♦J♣9♠ for trip nines to win the pot.
The next hand, Cozen found himself all in against Kevin Gerhart and Joseph Kupresanin after Gerhart completed, Kupresanin raised, and Cozen called off his last chips.
Glenn Cozen: XxXx/A♥10♥2♥9♠/Xx
Joseph Kupresanin: XxXx/K♠8♦J♣7♠/Xx
Kevin Gerhart: XxXx/Q♥10♣9♦3♣/Xx
Gerhart bet into the side pot on fifth and Kupresanin called. Gerhart bet again on sixth, Kupresanin called, and both players checked on seventh.
Kupresanin opened up K♥J♠6♦ for kings and jacks which was enough to beat Gerhart and send Cozen, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his runner-up finish in the 1993 Main Event, to the rail.
On fourth street, Anderson snap bet and Chait beat him into the pot.
Fifth street saw the betting lead change and Chait checked over to Anderson who bet and Chait once more beat him into the pot.
Sixth street saw Anderson take back the lead and bet which Chait called and without looking at his seventh street card, Anderson bet which Chait called.
"I don't know what I have," said Anderson who turned over 6♠3♣ for a made jack and a potential nine draw. He peeled a K♠ for just a jack which Chait could beat with a 8♠7♠6♠ for a ten.
"That hand played itself," joked Ohel, which earned a hearty laugh from the players involved in the hand.
