Switzer Doubles Through Seif

Livello 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jacob Switzer raised under the gun to 12,000, Mark Seif three-bet from the button to 60,000 and Switzer called, leaving himself just 24,000 behind.

Jacob Switzer: QJ
Mark Seif: AK

The turn and river came the 4 and A respectively and Switzer found the double.

Hansen's River Bet Gets Through

Livello 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There was a raise to 9,000 in early position before Soeren Baekgaard Hansen three-bet 24,000 on the button. The action folded back around to the original raiser and he made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of A95, and both players checked to see the 7 turn.

The early position player checked once again, and Hansen fired out a bet of 18,000. The early position player took about 30 seconds before making the call.

The 9 fell on the river, and once checked to, Hansen fired again, this time for 40,000.

The early position player started talking aloud, "I almost didn't even call the 18,000 on the turn. I know you hit the ace, you almost jumped out of your chair."

Hasen nodded silently.

Eventually, Hansen's opponent folded, as he said, "Show the bluff, make me look dumb."

Hansen opted not to show as he pushed forward his cards and collected the pot.
