Garshofsky Triples with a Riverboat

Livello 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With the flop reading 1098, three players were all in. Mitch Garshofsky was at risk in early position for 59,000, as was the middle position player for 67,000. They were covered by the cutoff.

Mitch Garshofsky: 98
Middle Position: A2
Button: QJ

The button was in the lead with the flopped straight, but middle position had the nut flush draw and Garshofsky had bottom two pair.

The turn was the 10 to give middle position the flush, but the button had an open-ended straight flush draw. However, Garshofsky drilled the 10 to make tens full of nines to triple up. The middle position player took a small side-pot.

Andreas Kniep
Andreas Kniep

Andreas Kniep opened to 3,000 from under the gun, and was called in three spots.

On a flop of KK4, Kniep continued for another 3,000, this time just finding one caller, in the small blind.

A 7 on the turn was checked by both players. The river was a 5 and Kniep took took the initiative once more, putting out a bet of 16,000, which was enough to take the pot.

When the small blind folded, Kniep offered him the choice to see one of his cards — something the whole table seems to have agreed to do — and the player revealed a J.
