Eric Wasserson Eliminated in 8th place ($74,648)

Livello 40 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Sean Winter limped in from the small blind and Eric Wasserson moved all in for his remaining stack, putting Winter in the tank.

"For sure we're gonna chop," Winter said before asking the dealer for a count. After mulling it over Winter put in the call to put Wasserson at risk.

Eric Wasserson: Q9
Sean Winter: A5

"Now would be a good time to hit my first pair this match," Wasserson said as the board was dealt out. Unfortunately for him, he would receive no such luck. The board ran out K746K and Winter's ace-high was enough to eliminate his opponent and advance to the semifinals.

Winter and Wasserson Chop it Up

Livello 39 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading KJ72. Sean Winter had bet 97,000 from the button and Eric Wasserson was contemplating his decision. After a few moments Wasserson put in the call.

Both players checked the 10 river to go to showdown.
