Cliff Josephy raised from under the gun to 3,000 and the player in middle position called. The player on the button, Ran Ilani, pushed in his last 7,000 for the three-bet and Josephy also shoved for about 34,000. The clock was called on the middle position player who could not decide what was the optimal play in this scenario and he eventually mucked.

Picking up the action on the river when an excited table saw a board of 3♥K♥A♦A♠7♥ and Jasthi Kumar from the small blind had placed a bet of 45,000 and received a call from the middle position player. Kumar flipped over A♣A♥ for the quads and the other player mucked. Kumar raked in a massive pot.

One of the other players at the table said ,"Man I can't even find a face card and you are getting quads".

Anderson still was having a full-blown conversation on the side, completely unphased by the flip he was going into.

The flop and turn of 2♥6♠K♣K♥ were safe for Sklenicka, but the A♥ on the river gave Anderson the win and Sklenicka was eliminated.

"Good game, man," Anderson calmy said as he scooped up his chips to add them to his stack.

Father & Daughter Make the Money of the 2023 WSOP Main Event

One of the most heartwarming storylines of the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) emerged today as the father-daughter duo of Amanda Botfeld and David Botfeld made the money of the $10,000 WSOP Main Event World Championship.

Amanda Botfeld, a poker writer and author of 2020's A Girl's Guide to Poker, announced on Twitter that she and her dad had made it to the money in poker's most prestigious event. The tweet included a photo of the two locked in a loving embrace, no doubt happy to have secured a payday of at least $15,000.

The poker author's tweet came shortly after the trio of Yue Qi Wang, Peter Nigh, and Jeppe Bisgaard were all eliminated on the Main Event money bubble.
