DeGiulio Doubles Through Al-Sadoun

Livello 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Paul DeGiulio
Paul DeGiulio

Satar Al-Sadoun limped the small blind and Paul DeGiulio checked his option in the big blind to see the 7A6 flop.

Al-Sadoun checked over to DeGiulio who announced pot totaling a 750,000 bet. Al-Sadoun decided to raise enough to put Degiulio all in.

DeGiulio called, putting himself at risk and sending both players to a runout.

Paul DeGiulio: A643
Satar Al-Sadoun: KQ84

Al-Sadoun was looking for a spade to take down DeGiulio's two pair and the J turn didn't get him there.

The river was a spade but it was the A which filled up DeGiulio, securing him the full double.

Hu Has the Hand

Livello 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
David Hu
David Hu

On a river reading 551083, David Hu placed a hefty wager of 2,600,000. Satar Al-Sadoun stood up out of his seat, surveyed the pot, shook his head, counted his chips, cut out a call and shook his head again.

When Al-Sadoun finally did call, he slid the chips over to Hu and said, "Here you go congratulations!".

Hu quickly tabled A755 for quad fives and Al-Sadoun said, "I knew it... either quads or nothing.".

Hu has regained the lead for now but these two remain neck and neck while their other two adversaries are still looking to spin up their stacks.

Al-Sadoun Barrels Again

Livello 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Satar Al-Sadoun raised to 500,000 from the small blind and received a call from Paul DeGiulio in the big.

Heads up they saw the Q23. Al-Sadoun bet 600,000 and DeGiulio made the call after mulling it over.

The turn brought the J and both players tapped the table before the J paired the board.

This time Al-Sadoun fired for 2,450,00 and DeGiulio mulled it over again but decided to let his hand go. Al-Sadoun made a gesture of wiping the sweat off his brow and showed Ax6x4x2x for the missed wrap and no pair.

DeGiulio turned to his rail shortly after and said, "I think I might feel like going home soon..."

Yusuke Tanaka Eliminated in 5th Place ($40,119)

Livello 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Yusuke Tanaka
Yusuke Tanaka

David Hu raised to 600,000 from the button and Yusuke Tanaka called from the big blind to see the 634 flop.

Tanaka jammed for around 600,000 more and Hu checked his cards then put in the call to send both players to a runout with Tanaka at risk.

Yusuke Tanaka: KKQ3
David Hu: AQ105

Tanaka was in pretty good shape with two cards to come and the 9 on the turn didn't change that but when the 2 hit the river, completing the wheel for Hu, Tanaka was sent to the rail in fifth place for $40,119.

Skaggs Continues His Spiral

Livello 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

At one point earlier in the tournament Thomas Skaggs took a commanding chip lead and left Satar Al-Sadoun nearly out of contention but for the past two levels it seems he's been unable to win a pot.

Hand 1:

On a river reading K1034K, he bet 1,000,000 only to be called by the KJ76, who made a flush in combination with the boat blocker.

Hand 2:

Skaggs raised on the button to 400,000 and soon faced a raise from Yusuke Tanaka to 1,400,000 from the small blind. Skagg folded.

Hand 3:

Skaggs limped in middle position and was faced with a raise to 900,000 from Al-Sadoun. Skaggs made the call and the saw a flop of K25. Skagg checked and Al-Sadoun wagered a cool 1,000,000, which garnered a fold.

Skaggs also defended a couple hands in the big blind but was unable to ever end up at showdown or rake a pot.

Hu and Al-Sadoun Go to Battle

Livello 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Satar Al-Sadoun raised to 400,000 from under the gun and got called by David Hu on the button and Yusuke Tanaka in the big blind to see the 487 flop.

Tanaka checked to Al-Sadoun who continued with a bet of 400,000. Hu put in the call and Tanaka folded to bring out the 8 on the turn.

Al-Sadoun checked to Hu who put out a bet of 1,100,000. Al-Sadoun paused briefly and counted out chips as he contemplated his action. Eventually, he put in the call and watched as the 5 fell on the river.

Al-Sadoun wasn't quick to do so, but eventually he did check and Hu checked back to get to showdown.

Hu waited for Al-Sadoun to table his hand first and after seeing him turn over the J10103, Hu tabled the AQ82 to win the pot with a pair of aces.
