Vitch Takes Two Hits

Livello 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Hoenig raised to 50,000 and Christopher Vitch called from one seat over. On the 1093 flop, Hoenig checked and subsequently check-raised from 60,000 to 200,000 for Vitch to call.

That led to the J turn on which Hoenig bet 270,000 and Vitch folded.

Hoenig was then moved tables to balance while Vitch defended against a raise to 55,000 by Ryan Rapaski. They headed to the K84 flop on which Vitch checked and Rapaski bet 100,000. The check-shove by Vitch followed and Rapaski called all-in for 310,000 total.

Ryan Rapaski: AK62
Christopher Vitch: A995

The J turn gave Vitch the nut flush draw but the 6 river changed nothing, as Rapaski scooped a full double.

Holley and Volpe Chip Up

Livello 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A short-stacked Tony Cousineau got it in with the A522 and Paul Volpe followed suit with the A642.

The board board ran out 74338 board and both players had the nut low, while Volpe also had the superior pair to earn three quarters.

A jolly John Holley then battled with Dylan Weisman over on table 138 and exclaimed he had to bet all the way when splashing in 200,000 on the J8532 river.

"I had two pair and the nut low, now I have three pair," Weisman responded and sigh-folded soon after.

Dzmitry Urbanovich and Martin Zamani were heads-up on a board showing 59K8A.

Urbanovich checked in the big blind before Zamani slid out a bet of 150,000. Urbanovich took some before announcing a check-raise for all of his chips.

Zamani took some time of his own, checking his cards carefully before mucking his hand. Urbanovich raked in the pot, pulling almost even with Zamani.

Yu Four-Bets Against Simao

Livello 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Joao Simao had raised to 70,000 and then folded to a raise.

Patrick Leonard opened to 45,000 and folded when Naoya Kihara reraised to 145,000.

Simao then saw Ben Yu raise it up to 40,000 and he three-bet to 150,000. Yu announced a pot-sized four-bet to 480,000 and Simao gasped a "fuck" which sounded like pot to Long Tran and Leonard with the latter wishing Simao good luck.

That confused Simao for a second and Leonard tried to explain it. One minute later, Simao folded to lose another portion of his stack.

Kihara and Simao Chip Up at the End

Livello 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Patrick Leonard raised to 45,000 and Naoya Kihara defended the small blind. On a JJ2 flop, Kihara opted to check-raise from 40,000 to 105,000 and Leonard stuck around.

Kihara checked the K turn and then called when Leonard made it 50,000 to go. Both checked the Q river and Kihara won the pot with J843 for trips jacks.

In the last hand of the night, Paul Volpe opened to 55,000 on the button and earned a call from Joao Simao in the big blind. Simao check-called the J55 flop when Volpe continued for 35,000 and they checked the A turn. After the K river, Simao bet 80,000.

Volpe made the call and mucked when he was shown the 7542 for trips fives.
