Kamel Bulldozes Further Ahead

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

John Holley raised the pot to 180,000 and Hassan Kamel defended the big blind. On a flop of 654, Holley check-called for 150,000 and the K turn was checked. Holley also checked the 7 river and Kamel bet the pot to force out Holley.

Kamel limped the next small blind and Anton Smirnov checked his option in the big blind. The 643 flop was checked by Kamel and he called a bet for 60,000. On the K turn both checked and Kamel bet the 9 river for 300,000 to take it without resistance.

Dylan Weisman raised the pot and won the blinds and antes.

Kamel opened to 180,000 and Stephen Deutsch came along in the big blind. The 864 flop was checked by Deutsch, who then folded to Kamel's bet of 200,000.

The next open raise to 180,000 by the Aussie also went through as Weisman forfeited his big blind and big blind ante.

Weisman Doubles Through Deutsch

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Dylan Weisman
Dylan Weisman

After some back and forth tussles with minor chip changes, Dylan Weisman raised the pot to 210,000 from under the gun and Stephen Deutsch three-bet the pot to 660,000 in the big blind. Weisman pushed all-in and Deutsch called.

Dylan Weisman: AAJ10
Stephen Deutsch: KK43

"No king please," Weisman said and started walking to his rail. When the K53 flop brought the king, he instantly groaned a "fuck me". He didn't even realise at first that the J turn and 6 river ensured the full double via running hearts, while Deutsch's low hopes had bricked.

Weisman instantly apologised as his stack of 1,060,000 was counted and paid for, leaving Deutsch short.

Deutsch Strikes Back

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Stephen Deutsch and Dylan Weisman tangled again, this time in a battle of the blinds. Deutsch raised in the small blind and called when Weisman moved all in from the big blind.

Stephen Deutsch: A987
Dylan Weisman: QQ53

Weisman's pair of queens remained ahead after the 3106 flop, but the 9 turn delivered a straight for Deutsch. The 3 river completed the board, as Deutsch doubled back through Weisman.

Holley Wins One; Smirnov Chops With Deutsch

Livello 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ryan Hoenig raised to 210,000 in the hijack and earned a call from John Holley in the small blind. They checked to the 85466 river on which Holley bet 200,000 and Hoenig folded.

Hassan Kamel then raised to 180,000 in the cutoff and Anton Smirnov three-bet the pot to 510,000 with few chips behind. Stephen Deutsch moved all-in for around 1.2 million and Kamel asked for a count while Smirnov was briefly stunned.

"That's more than I expected," Kamel said and folded while Smirnov called it off.

Anton Smirnov: AKJ3
Stephen Deutsch: AKK4

The 662 flop and 9 turn locked up the high portion for Deutsch. Smirnov needed a low card to escape and spiked the 4 river to chop with the nut low.

Holley Pots the River

Livello 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Stephen Deutsch opened to 180,000 on the button and found a call from John Holley in the big blind.

Holley checked the 267 flop and called when Deutsch continued for 100,000.

Both players checked the Q turn, with Holley leading out on the J river for the full pot. Deutsch mucked his hand as Holley added a pile of chips to his stack.

Holley Down to Fumes After Doubling Smirnov

Livello 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Anton Smirnov
Anton Smirnov

Stephen Deutsch raised to 130,000 and John Holley let it ride with a pot-sized three-bet from the big blind. Deutsch started casual table chat with the jovial Holley and opted to "live another day" with a fold. Holley exposed the 9 which he declared as the key card, then stated he had AxAx2x9x.

One hand later, Holley limped in but instantly asked "how much can he make it", fully expecting a raise by Hassan Kamel.

"You know what it is," Kamel replied and potted to 240,000 for Holley to call. The 852 flop was check-called by Holley when Kamel continued for 200,000. Both checked the 9 turn and the 2 river saw Holley check again. Kamel bet the full pot for 960,000 and forced a fold.

In the very next hand, Holley raised to 200,000 on the button and Anton Smirnov potted to 600,000 from the big blind. Without any hesitation, Holley called and they headed to the Q105 flop. Smirnov pushed forward 250,000 and left 25,000 behind, which Holley didn't see.

Holley instantly splashed in chips and exposed his cards, then turned them back over when it was pointed out. Hence, Holley only called and Smirnov checked the 3 turn.

"Wait, let me check my cards," Holley stated and checked it back to the 10 river.

Smirnov moved all-in and Holley called. "You win, but I can't fold the wrap," Holley said as he exposed his AKJ5. Smirnov earned the full double with the AQ73 to leave Holley on fumes.

Holley Doubles Through Deutsch

Livello 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

John Holley raised to 280,000 under the gun, leaving just 50,000 chips behind. The action folded to Stephen Deutsch in the big blind, who made the call.

The rest of Holley's chips were at risk after the K83 flop.

John Holley: AQ92
Stephen Deutsch: A976

Holley was in great shape with a flush draw to go with a nut low draw, and the K turn changed nothing. The J river completed Holley's flush to earn the double up.

Stephen Deutsch Eliminated in 6th Place ($105,737)

Stephen Deutsch

Hassan Kamel raised to 240,000 two hands in a row and Stephen Deutsch called the second time when he was in the big blind. On the 862 flop, Deutsch checked and folded when Kamel bet the pot.

One hand later, Deutsch got it in against Ryan Hoenig and they chopped it up. Fellow short stack John Holley went through the blinds as both Deutsch and Holley had a very similar short stack between five and six blinds.

Deutsch then potted to 280,000 and Kamel called in the small blind. Kamel bet the pot on the A98 flop and Deutsch called for the fumes he had behind.

Stephen Deutsch: 10532
Hassan Kamel: A664

The J turn and K river were both high cards to entirely miss the low draw of Deutsch, who was ousted in sixth place for $105,737.

Holley Hits Against Hoenig

Livello 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ryan Hoenig raised to 280,000 and called when the rest of John Holley's short stack slid into the middle.

John Holley: 9755
Ryan Hoenig: KQ52

Hoenig took the lead on the KJ9 flop, but Holley found two pair on the 7 turn.

The river 8 left Holley ahead for the double up.
