Lau Undeterred By Foxen's Three-Bet

Ka Kwan Lau raised to 6,000 before Alex Foxen, on the button, three-bet to 21,000. Lau called and they went heads-up to the K♥K♠J♦ flop.

Foxen continued for 12,000 and Lau again called before both players checked the 4♣ turn.

The river came the 2♣ and Lau now led out for 52,000. Foxen used up a time bank before he folded.

"Why would anybody three-bet Ka? The way he's running," tablemate Sean Winter said following the hand.

Ren Lin then came over to the table and rubbed Lau's hand for good luck. "Okay, I win this one now," Lin said as he headed back to his own table.

Nick Schulman and Isaac Haxton are also seated alongside Lau and Foxen.

Four ways to the K♦J♠3♠ flop with 7,000 each invested, Ren Lin continued for 13,000 from under the gun. Jan-Peter Jachtmann called while Eelis Pärssinen and Karel Mokry folded. The 8♥ turn was checked and Lin also checked the 2♠ on the river. Jachtmann bet 15,000 and Lin folded, claiming to make a "tight fold" while exposing the 8♦2♦.

"Two pair? You win," Jachtmann exclaimed and showed A♣Qx10♣5♦ for a bluff.

One hand later, Dylan Weisman raised to 7,000 and Andrew Ige called, as did Lin in the big blind. The A♥9♥2♦ flop was checked to Weisman and he bet the pot for 24,000 with 7,500 behind. Ige folded and Lin called, exclaiming his opponent was drawing dead.

Lin bet big on the 9♣ turn, joking a "good game" and Weisman called all-in.

The river was the 4♠ and Weisman doubled.

Jared Bleznick and Shaun Deeb built a pot of around 130,000 heading to the river on a board of 8♣K♥3♦2♠7♣ when Bleznick bet another 125,000.

Deeb quickly called and Bleznick turned over 7♠3♥3♠2♥ for a flopped set. Deeb threw his hands in the air in frustration before he mucked as he saw a large portion of his stack head over to Bleznick.
