Players have found their seats but the floor has made an announcement in Horseshoe that those seated in the Orange Section can expect some delays, as there's a shortage of dealers at the moment.
The 2023 World Series of Poker continues at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas today with the Event #70: $400 Colossus No-Limit Hold'em at 10 a.m local time. The Colossus is the second lowest buy-in event at the WSOP, so an absolutely massive field is expected as they all dream of bracelet glory.
The reigning champion is United Kingdom's Paul Hizer who beat a field of 13,565 entrants to claim the first-place prize of $414,490 as well as his first WSOP bracelet. If trends from this year's WSOP continue, then the entrants and prize pool will dwarf last year's numbers as Event #18: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold'em showed with its 23,088 entrants and $5,679,648 prize pool.
