Lamoureux has Bullets

Livello 20 : 8,000/16,000, 10,600 ante

The player in the hijack raised to 35,000, Adrien Lamoureux three-bet to 90,000 and the big blind called off the bet for their last 49,000. The hijack also opted to see a flop.

On a board of Q53, the hijack checked and then folded to a shove from Lamoureux.

Big Blind: QJ
Adrien Lamoureux: AA

The turn and river fell the 2 and A respectively. Lamoureux earned himself another bounty chip.

Ace-Queen Good for Bowlsby

Livello 20 : 8,000/16,000, 10,600 ante

Big stack Alex Massman opened to 30,000 from early position and Geoffrey Bowlsby defended from the big blind.

On a flop of 9410, Massman continued for 24,000 and Bowlsby check-called to see the 2 on the turn.

Both players decided to check through the turn as well as the 5 river, at which point Bowlsby flipped over AQ and Massman nodded and mucked his hand.

Durr Doubles With Kings

Livello 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The player in early position opened to 30,000 and then Brian Durr in middle position shoved all in for a total of 114,000.

The action folded back around to the original raiser and he quickly made the call to put Durr at risk.

Brian Durr: KK
Opponent: AQ

Durr was a favorite going into this battle with his pocket kings, and the flop of 9KJ further improved him to top set, but now he just had to fade the four tens in the deck that would give his opponent the straight.

Luckily, the board completed with the 4Q and he secured the victory for a double-up.

Brink of a Double but a Blade to the Heart

Livello 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Two healthy stacks had a preflop raising war, putting Frederik Brink at risk and in a classic race against Renji Mao.

Frederik Brink: QQ
Renji Mao: AK

The flop was in favor of Brink, as the dealer peeled, J103 off the deck. The turn was even better for Brink, as the 9 made it so a king on the river was no good, making it that much more painful when the A peeled. Brink said nothing, but frustration was written on his face as he waited to receive his payout slip.

Mao recently won his first gold bracelet in the $800 NLH Deepstack and will be one to watch now that he is amongst the chip leaders.
