The action folded back around to the original raiser and he quickly made the call to put Durr at risk.

Durr was a favorite going into this battle with his pocket kings, and the flop of 9♠K♦J♦ further improved him to top set, but now he just had to fade the four tens in the deck that would give his opponent the straight.

The flop was in favor of Brink, as the dealer peeled, J♦10♥3♣ off the deck. The turn was even better for Brink, as the 9♦ made it so a king on the river was no good, making it that much more painful when the A♥ peeled. Brink said nothing, but frustration was written on his face as he waited to receive his payout slip.
Mao recently won his first gold bracelet in the $800 NLH Deepstack and will be one to watch now that he is amongst the chip leaders.
