Day 2 of Event #67: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship kicks off today at 10 a.m. PDT here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Only 331 of the record-breaking starting field of 1,286 entrants remain in contention and they're all looking forward to reaching the money as the bubble is right around the corner with 195 players getting paid.

The min-cash is worth $1,601 out of the $1,152,550 total prize pool, while a $192,167 first-place prize and a coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet await the winner. Canadian player Bernice McLennan is leading. She bagged a huge stack of 276,500 chips. Following her are Americans Katrina Lim (245,000) and Talia Fligelman (234,500).

Among the notable players still in contention include the reigning champion Jessica Teusl (39,000), the 2021 champion Lara Eisenberg (72,500), the 2019 champion Jiyoung Kim, poker commentator Veronica Brill (212,500), Samantha Abernathy (185,500), Vanessa Kade (146,000), Tiffany Michelle (75,000), poker streamer Monika Zukowicz (66,000), Gaelle Baumann (31,000 ) and high stakes star Kristen Foxen, a three-time WSOP bracelet winner (59,500).

Play will resume on Friday, June 30th, at 10 a.m. local time at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Levels will be 60 minutes with a 15-minute break every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16 (around 4:30 p.m.). Blinds will begin at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 big blind ante. This will play ten levels today.
