In a heads-up pot with roughly 3,000,000 in the middle on a board showing 5♠3♦2♦A♠, John Taylor bet out 1,300,000 from the small blind and David Guay raised to 5,100,000. Taylor took a few seconds, but eventually made the call.
On the 4♥ river Taylor checked to Guay who announced all in, just barely covering the stack of Taylor, who went deep in the tank. After close to two minutes, Taylor folded and the pot was shipped to the Canadian.

Kowalczyk would flash A♠K♠ before it hit the muck. Kowalczyk would finish in 5th place after an incredible run.
