Irvin Garcia Ramirez Soft-Bubbles in Exposed Card Controversy
Irvin Garcia Ramirez: K♠9♠3♠/K♣J♣K♦10♦
Maximilian Schindler: XxXx/2♦8♦6♦5♣/Xx
Jon Shoreman: 5♦4♥3♣/3♦2♥J♦6♠
Calvin Anderson: K♥7♦2♣/A♥Q♥5♥10♥
Irvin Garcia Ramirez was all-in on third street and found three interested parties in Maximilian Schindler, Jon Shoreman, and Calvin Anderson.
Schindler bet on fourth and fifth street and both players left to act called. On sixth street, the action checked to Anderson who now had four hearts showing. He bet, Schindler called and Shoreman raised. Both Anderson and Schindler called and seventh street was dealt.
The dealer accidentally exposed the J♠ as Ramirez's final card. After a double floor ruling, it was decided that it would be shuffled back into the deck and seventh street would begin anew. When it did, Schindler checked, Shoreman bet and Anderson raised. Schindler now folded claiming he "is never good here," and Shoreman made the call.
At showdown, it was revealed that Ramirez's jack would have given him a full house and thus half of the pot, but instead remained with trips. The high part of the pot now went Anderson's way with his flush, while Shoreman raked in the low part.
A sour exit for Ramirez as the field now enters hand-for-hand play on the stone bubble.
