Vardjavand Eliminates Deeb

Livello 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Shaun Deeb, who had recently been reduced to a short stack, moved all in from the big blind for 138,000 with the board showing J3939. Varahram Vardjavand, in middle position, considered whether or not to call.

After thinking for a minute, he put a small stack of chips in front of him. After confirming with the dealer that the call had been made, Deeb turned over AKQ6.

"Jack," said Vardjavand, turning over AKJ4 to eliminate Deeb.

Double for Refaelowitz; Jaffee Left Short

Livello 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jared Jaffee raised to 20,000 from early position and Moshe Refaelowitz moved all-in from the big blind for his remaining 127,000, which Jaffee called.

Moshe Refaelowitz: AQ
Jared Jaffee: J10

Refaelowitz would need to hold to stay alive and the AK6 flop would further extend his lead, but Jaffee could find a queen for the elimination.

However, the 8 turn and the 7 river would close the door and give Refaelowitz the full double.
