Picking up the action on the draw, Erik Seidel on the button had Wing Liu in the big blind all in and at risk. Both players took one card with Liu showing down 9x8x6x3x before pairing up the 3x.
That left Seidel, holding 10x8x7x2x, in good shape to score the knockout. That is exactly what happened after he peeled the 6♣ to send Liu to the payout desk in 22nd place and bring the tournament down to its last three tables.

On the latest PokerNews Podcast episode, Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen continue The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
They are joined by Joey Ingram, AKA Papi, a lover of four-card poker. A prolific poker podcaster, Ingram is known for his marathon emergency investigations into such controversial matters as the Mike Postle and Robbi Jade Lew cheating allegations. Ingram, who was in L.A. for the Hustler Casino Live $1,000,000 Cash Game, recently returned to Las Vegas and was at the 2023 WSOP for the first time when he sat down with the guys.
Hear what Ingram thinks the future holds for poker, which just might surprise you.
Chad and Jesse also break down all ten nominees for the Poker Hall of Fame Class of 2023. Only one will get in, and it’ll undoubtedly be a close affair with so many deserving individuals.
Jonathan Glendinning raised 40,000 from the cutoff and big blind Brad Ruben called.
Glendinning drew one while Ruben opted for two. Glendinning slid a 100,000 stack of pink out, and Ruben tanked, as that represented one third of his remaining stack.
He found the call, and snapped off Glendinning's bluff. Glendinning showed he had paired sixes, and Ruben's hero call with Qx10x5x4x2x took down a needed pot.

Philip Sternheimer got it in pre-draw against Richard Ashby.
Sternheimer patted with a rough ten, and Ashby drew one to 7x6x3x2x and caught a nine to slide under Sternheimer and end his Day 3 before it had begun.

Action folded around to Matt Vengrin in the small blind and he chose to move all in. Chad Himmelspach in the big blind quickly called with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.
Vengrin took one while Himmelspach opted to stand pat, tabling 9x7x4x3x2x. Holding Jx6x5x4x, Vengrin was already drawing dead before peeling the 5x to confirm his exit in 24th place.
