Kil Rises Further on the Leaderboard

Livello 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a completed board of A8535, Evan Krentzman had checked and Bradley Kil pushed forward his large stack that included two towers of T-25,000 chips. He had Krentzman covered by a mile and eventually forced a fold to close in on nearly two million in chips.

"Man, I wanna see these four cards," Joseph Liberta joked and then added "oh Brad, oh Brad" ... while Kil was busy raking in all the chips.

Lau Scores Massive Double Through Soverel

Livello 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

After multiple limps including Josh Arieh, Sam Soverel, Dylan Weisman and Jordan Spurlin, Ka Kwan Lau raised the pot to 72,000 out of the big blind. Arieh from under the gun and Soverel called as they headed to the Q93 flop. Lau asked for the size of the pot and then bet 125,000 into 277,000, forcing out Arieh and earning a call from Soverel.

After the 9 turn, Lau bet another 175,000 and Soverel came along to the 10 on the river. Lau checked with 517,000 behind and chip leader Soverel pulled the trigger by moving all-in.

Lau used three time bank extensions and then called all-in as Soverel flung his Q1087 on the table. Lau had that beat with the KJ107 for a king-high straight and earned a huge double.

Despite losing this large pot, Soverel remained not far behind his opponent on the leaderboard.

"You called me with nothing?" Soverel joked.

Lau instantly replied "Nothing, I don't know."

Lamb Puts the Money In

Livello 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

Ben Lamb opened to 27,000 but was then immediately three-bet to 114,000 by William Kopp to his left. The other players quickly got out of the way and the action was back to Lamb who made the call.

The flop came out 565 and Lamb checked to Kopp who continued for 75,000 and Lamb check-raised to 483,000.
Kopp quickly moved all in and Lamb made the call, putting himself at risk.

Ben Lamb: 10987
William Kopp: AAJ10

Kopp was ahead with his two pair of aces and fives, but had to fade Lamb's wrap. Unfortunately for Kopp, the turn came the 7 which gave Lamb a straight and the river completed with the J to secure his victory.

Lamb scored a big double up to 1,400,000 while Kopp was left with crumbs but has now been able to spin some of it back up to around 175,000.

Teska Wins Three-Way Pot Against Anderson

Livello 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Roger Teska
Roger Teska

In a hand that had started at the end of the previous level, there were 30,000 in preflop but no action on the A64 flop and J turn. Bradley Anderson bet the 10 river for 70,000 out of the big blind and Roger Teska called while Henry Hull folded.

Anderson showed the A962 for aces and sixes but Teska had that beat with the KQ105 for broadway.

"You couldn't have over-limped so I can flop a flush?" Robert Cowen inquired with a sigh.

Zack Just Has It

Daniel Zack
Daniel Zack

On a three-way turn of 102710, action checked to Brandon Adams who bet 225,000 into the already bloated pot and Daniel Zack made the call while the other player got out of the way.

The river came the 9 and Zack checked once more to Adams, who thought for a few moments before he decided to check back as well.

Zack then tabled Q1096 for the nut full house and Adams quickly mucked to award him the pot.

Soverel Bounces Back to the Top

Livello 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Sam Soverel was moved tables and wasted little time to run up his stack again. In the latest hand, he checked from the cutoff on the QJ5 flop and Ben Lamb bet 68,000 on the button for Soverel to call. They checked the 8 on the turn and the 9 river brought a possible straight and flush.

Soverel bet the pot for 280,000 and Lamb folded.

Sethi Hits That Other Draw

Livello 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Vidur Sethi
Vidur Sethi

Action folded to Chance Kornuth on the button who opened the action to 30,000. Vidur Sethi called out of the small blind and Eelis Parssinen called out of the big blind.

The 972 flop landed and Sethi checked. Parssinen bet pot for 102,000. Chance got out of the way and Sethi hit the pot button again to put Parssinen all-in. He called and they were off to a turn and river heads-up.

Eelis Parssinen: K477
Vidur Sethi: AQJJ

Sethi was on the nut flush draw and Parssinen was hoping for a board pair with his set of sevens.

The K turn was a relative blank but gave Sethi a gutter to the nut straight. That straight would come in on the 10 river. Sethi hit the backdoor draw he needed and Parssinen hit the rail before the money.
