The action made it all the way to the button where recent $10k PLO bracelet winner Lou Garza made it 75,000. The small blind folded and Jeremy Ausmus went into the tank. He thought for a moment before reraising pot, which would put Garza all in. Garza called.
Lou Garza: A♠10♣3♣Q♦
Jeremy Ausmus: A♦K♣7♦8♠
The 8♣5♦3♦J♦5♠ board gave Ausmus the nut flush. Garza would hit the rail before the money and miss out on a back-to-back bracelet opportunity.

In four-way action to the Q♦J♣5♠ flop, the action checked to Calvin Anderson on the button and he bet the pot, sliding forward 250,000 in chips with fewer than that behind.
Brandon Adams in the small blind used three time bank extensions to fold while Andrew Ige folded swiftly out of the big blind. Christopher Frank moved all-in from under the gun and Anderson called for around 400,000.
Calvin Anderson: K♥Q♣J♥4♥
Christopher Frank: K♦Q♠Q♥7♠
The J♠ turn left Anderson with a single out and the A♥ river ended his run just shy of the money. Iaroslav Boiko was also eliminated to bring the field down to the last 70 contenders.

Christopher Frank and Quan Zhou got all of the chips into the middle preflop, with Zhou at risk.
Quan Zhou: A♠A♦8♠3♦
Jordan Polk: A♣A♥8♣4♥
Since both players had double-suited aces with basically the same danglers, it was still a flip as to whose suit would come on the board. As luck would have it, the board ran out 5♦10♦9♣K♦3♠ to give Zhou a flush on the turn to double up.

With 70 players remaining and 68 places being paid, the Tournament Director has initiated hand-for-hand play until the money bubble bursts.
Two away from the money, Cary Katz was all-in and the showdown proceeded with heads-up action only as Noah Schwartz had gotten out of the way after a Q♠J♥5♣ flop.
Cary Katz: A♦A♣4♣2♠
Daniel Barriocanal: K♠K♥4♠2♥
The 4♦ turn and 7♠ river changed nothing and Katz more than doubled.
"Would you have won?" he asked Schwartz, who shook his head. "I flopped a pair and back door flush draw".

Half a dozen hands have been completed so far and the field is still two eliminations away from bursting the bubble.
Ka Kwan Lau won a multi-way limped pot on the Q♥8♥8♣ flop when Christopher Frank bet 25,000 and Lau raised to 75,000, forcing folds all around.

On a heads-up turn of A♦6♣7♠2♥, Henry Hull checked to his opponent, Robert Cowen, who then bet 300,000 into the already large pot of 500,000.
Hull thought about it for a few moments, then announced a call and punctuated it by thumping his stack chips onto the felt.
The river fell the 3♣ and Hull gave a shrug and moved all of his chips into the middle, totaling 345,000, and Cowen went deep into the tank.
"I feel like you just have 7-8-9-10 here," he said to Hull after an intense staredown, but still could not quite make up his mind.
After using several time banks, Cowen finally made the could to award the pot to Hull.
"Show the bluff!" someone at the table said, and Hull proudly showed pocket kings, and then admitted he just had six-eight to go with it for a stone bluff. The player to his right corroborated this story and the table went nuts over his bluff., to which Hull responded with a quote from David Mamet...
"Old age and treachery will always beat youth and enthusiasm [exuberance]".
