Eveslage Gets the Knockout and the Double

Livello 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Chad Eveslage
Chad Eveslage

Sean Winter opened the action to 85,000 from under the gun off a short stack. It folded to Joao Vieira in the small blind who reraised pot to 285,000. Next to act was Chad Eveslage who also announced "pot" and put in the remaining 695,000 in his stack. Winter and Vieira both called. The players were off to a full board.

Sean Winter: KQQ9
Chad Eveslage: AA32
Joao Vieira: KK55

The full board would run out 97AQJ giving Eveslage top set, Winter middle set, and Vieira just a pair of kings. Winter hit the rail, Vieira's stack was punished, and Eveslage got over a pure double and a very healthy stack going into the final levels of the day.

Livello 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Bradley Kil
Bradley Kil

The all-in showdowns keep coming at a rapid pace and the latest to fall was Kane Kalas. He got it in with the KKQ7 and Bradley Kil looked him up with the AJ82. An ace on the flop was followed by another thereafter and that spelled the end for Kalas.

Also no longer in contention is Brandon Adams, who had been nursing a shorter stack for a while.

Mio Eliminated by Lyubovetskiy

Livello 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

A raising war broke out on the KQ10 flop and Hani Mio declared "okay, I call" for the 700,000 he had behind when Andriy Lyubovetskiy had applied pressure with the bigger stack.

Hani Mio: KJ105
Andriy Lyubovetskiy: AAJ4

Mio was up against broadway and needed a king or ten to avoid the elimination. Nothing changed with the 3 turn and Mio initially celebrated on the J river before he realized that his exit in 49th place was sealed.

Kornuth Keeps on the Gas

Livello 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of 336 Chance Kornuth led out for 165,000 from the big blind and Andriy Lyubovetskiy called from the button to see the 10 on the turn.

Kornuth continued for another 265,000 and Lyubovetskiy thought about it for a few seconds before he slid out the proper calling chips.

On the river 9, Kornuth fired again for 330,000 and Lyubovetskiy quickly slid his cards into the muck.

Paul Volpe

Ben Lamb raised and was called by Brandon Schaefer. Paul Volpe then jammed his last 175,000 and Lamb came along while Schaefer folded.

Paul Volpe: AAK8
Ben Lamb: KQJ10

The A10455 board was a tease for Lamb but Volpe doubled with aces full.

"I rather you have aces than him ... unless I beat him," Lamb said and glanced at Schaefer who has a big stack.

Vieira Hits Winter with a Cold Deck

Livello 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

After significant action before the flop Joao Vieire checked to Sean Winter on the button with over 1,000,000 already in the pot looking at a board of 497. Winter didn't take long before raising pot and putting Vieira all in.

Vieira went into the tank for over a minute with his tournament on the line. Eventually he stuck in the chips and the cards hit their backs.

Joao Vieira: AQQ10
Sean Winter: AAK6

Winter was in great shape to score the knockout. The turn brought a 6 keeping winter in the lead but the Q river would give Vieira top set and get him a much needed double just after the bubble burst.
