Hecklen Wins Some Chips Back

Livello 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a small three-way pot to the K33AJ river, Anton Morgenstern bet 4,000 and was called by Abraham Faroni as well as Henrik Hecklen. Faroni announced he was playing ace-king and flashed his cards for a second but Hecklen had the best of it with the KQ104 for broadway.

Morgenstern has had the best of it so far on the table and more than doubled up already, while Hecklen bounced back to more than half the starting stack.

Negreanu Out and Back In

Livello 6 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Just before the blinds had gone up, Daniel Negreanu was eliminated and re-entered to then raise. Christopher Frank three-bet the pot and Negreanu called, declaring his "hope to hit the flop".

The A103 flop was checked by Negreanu, who then folded to a bet worth 12,000.

"I had seven-high," Negreanu added.

Wasserson Bricks Everything; Fires Again

Livello 6 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

On a heads-up board of KJ82, Eric Wasserson bet the pot for 59,000 and then Artem Babakhanyan moved all in for more. Wasserson quickly made the call to put him at risk and the cards were tabled.

Artem Babakhanyan: AKJ5
Eric Wasserson: KQ109

Babakhanyan was technically ahead with his top two-pair but Wasserson had a monster hand with his wrap and flush combo draw.

Unfortunately for Wasserson, the river came the brick 6 and Babakhanyan scooped the massive pot while Wasserson was left on crumbs, shaking his head.

Wasserson then got it all in against Yashuo Chin the very next hand, and although they both held similar hands of pocket queens with an ace, Chin hit a flush to knock him out. He has since fired a second bullet and is back in the mix.

Lonis Nit-Rolls Liberta

Livello 6 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

While preflop didn't bring a ton of action, Joseph Liberta in the big blind raised the pot and Jesse Lonis was the only one to stick around after the AJ7 flop. That created a pot of 39,400 and they checked the 8 turn. Liberta then bet the pot on the 4 river and Lonis used one time bank extension before making the call.

Liberta exposed his 9763 on the other side of the table and Lonis asked "do you have a straight?"

That was not the case and Lonis won the pot with the 10865. Some verbal tussle followed as Liberta joked it could have been a decent slow roll if he had tanked for a minute and then started laughing before exposing his cards.

"It was a nit roll, not a slow roll," Lonis concluded.

Seidel Doubles With Quads

Livello 6 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

In a three-way pot on a flop of 1044, Erik Seidel and Allan Le checked from the blinds and the button bet 7,000. Le called and Seidel check-raised to 20,000. The button called and Le folded.

Seidel bet 25,000 on the 10 turn and his opponent again called. Seidel then bet 60,000 on the K river before his opponent moved all in with Seidel covered. Seidel quickly called.

The button showed a full house with K438, but it was no good against the quads of Seidel as the Poker Hall of Famer turned over A10106 to double up and leave his opponent with crumbs.

Tsang's Tasty Turn

Anson Tsang
Anson Tsang

On a flop of A53, after a bet to 4,800 from Tomas Ribeiro and a call from Anson Tsang, Nick Schulman raised the pot to 28,800.

Ribeiro quickly got out of the way but Tsang decided to make the call after some time in the tank and the two saw the turn fall the 6.

Tsang then paused for a few moments before he announced all-in for 70,700. Schulman then went into the tank himself, burning one of his time bank cards before he finally gave up and threw in his cards.
