Negreanu Out and Back In

Just before the blinds had gone up, Daniel Negreanu was eliminated and re-entered to then raise. Christopher Frank three-bet the pot and Negreanu called, declaring his "hope to hit the flop".

The A♣10♦3♥ flop was checked by Negreanu, who then folded to a bet worth 12,000.

"I had seven-high," Negreanu added.

Hecklen Wins Some Chips Back

In a small three-way pot to the K♥3♦3♠A♣J♦ river, Anton Morgenstern bet 4,000 and was called by Abraham Faroni as well as Henrik Hecklen. Faroni announced he was playing ace-king and flashed his cards for a second but Hecklen had the best of it with the K♠Q♠10♣4♦ for broadway.

Morgenstern has had the best of it so far on the table and more than doubled up already, while Hecklen bounced back to more than half the starting stack.

Thomas Zanot raised to 3,000 and earned calls from Chris Lee as well as Bin Weng out of the blinds. The trio checked down the entire board of J♣6♦3♠K♥A♣ and Lee announced ace-eight, exposing the A♦8♦. Weng folded but Zanot had the superior hand with the A♠10♥9♥6♣.

Quan Zhou opened to 2,500 from early position and was called by David Williams on the button and Oswin Ziegelbecker in the small blind. Then Eric Kurtzman in the big blind raised it up to 12,500 and everyone called to see the flop of 7♣K♥2♣.

Ziegelbecker checked to Kurtzman who then continued for 40,000 and everyone tossed in their cards to award hin the pot.

"Come on, show the bluff one time," Chino Rheem said to his left, and Kurtzman flashed A♠K♣.

"That's not a bluff!" Rheem laughed as they prepared for the next hand.

The 7♣ river paired the board and both stacks were counted. Hernandez covered with his 199,400 and that sent Ko to the rail.
